Coin Free Billiards debuts at 2006 AMOA Expo

Orlando Florida, July 25, 2006 - Coin Free LLC is pleased to debut the first cashless payment system for the coin-operated billiards industry at the 2006 AMOA Expo. Coin Free Billiards enables consumers to use their debit and credit cards to purchase traditional “rack play”, multiple games with free game bonuses, reserved “table time” in 30-minute increments, and a built-in stop watch display also allows timed pool games. All of these purchase options can be separately priced based on both the time of day and the day of the week.

Coin Free Billiards functions as a complete retrofit, or as an upgrade allowing the traditional coin mechanisms to remain in place and operational. The complete retrofit will be available in several models allowing operators to accept all of today’s available pocket currencies including dollar bills, 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, 50¢ & $1 coins along with credit and debit cards, which always allow the consumer to spend beyond the cash available in his or her pocket.

Coin Free Billiards allows operators to easily achieve total financial accountability with the My Coin Free route management software that works complimentary with each system. Through the website www.mycoinfree.com, Coin Free operators log onto a secured account page detailing the daily sales activity and maintenance needs for each pool table enabled with the wireless device. Through the Coin Free wireless network, the pool table is also able to report a low battery and if the moneybox is full, taking the guess work out of the operator’s business.

Operators with route employees can rest easy knowing how much cash should be collected and returned, while credit and debit card sales deposit directly into the operators’ bank account, helping reducing the risks of theft and vandalism.

Bar owners also benefit not having to make change or stock quarters for patrons to operate their coin-op tables. As a gesture of good faith, operators can also share location specific sales data with a bar owner through printable monthly sales reports or restricted access to their www.mycoinfree.com web page. These accountability features can help operators secure new and profitable locations, especially when bar owners realize they no longer need to stock quarters to keep patrons entertained playing pool.

For the past several years operators across the country have seen decreasing profits due to consumers carrying less cash in pocket and increasing route management costs. Coin Free Billiards eliminates these problems by allowing wireless point-of-sales credit/debit card approvals, while giving operators the ability to remotely monitor their pool tables’ maintenance needs and sales data anywhere they have access to the Internet.

In other industries, the convenience of credit and debit card acceptance has been shown to increase sales up to 35% due to ease of multiple transactions and consumers not being restricted to the available cash in their pocket. Similar trends will be seen in the amusement gaming sector as well.
